We believe in the power of technology to drive change and are looking for a visionary IT General Manager to join our dynamic team.

Your Role:
You will be responsible for managing and implementing Reachlives’s brand communication strategy for Reachlives America, Reachlives UK and our Middle East/South East Asia markets. Increasing Reachlives brand visibility, creating awareness around children’s rights, facilitating effective fundraising communication and positioning Reachlives as a preferred social impact partner will be a critical measure of this role.

  • Creativity: The ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts for campaigns across various platforms like mailers, social media, etc.
  • Copywriting: Strong writing skills for creating engaging and persuasive content for various mediums including websites, blogs, mailers, social media posts, annual reports, newsletters, etc.
  • Project Coordination: Skills in coordinating with project teams to get updates and stories from the field.
  • Social Media Management: Proficiency in managing social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, engagement with followers, and collaboration with influencers or other partners.
  • Partnership Management: Experience in researching, reaching out to, and managing partnerships with influencers, media outlets, digital platforms, online and offline publications, and organizations, particularly in the UK market.
  • Networking: Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders and partners.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in crafting content and campaigns to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions to overcome them in the context of communication campaigns and partnerships.

You:
You must be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Marketing/Communications or Mass Communications with 3 to 5 years of experience in a brand communications role (with experience in copywriting) in a mid-sized organization. Strong understanding of communications as well as brand & marketing concepts along with excellent written and oral communication skills in English is essential. Initiative, focus on outcome and the ability to multitask would be required to fulfill the role.

Location: Remote work with occasional travel for meetings, primarily in London

Reporting To: Chairman of the Reachlives Board

Contract: 24 hours per week (3 days); 1 year contract renewable

Compensation: £27,000 PA (part-time)

Purpose of the Role:
Reachlives is seeking a proactive and passionate Fundraising Manager who will join us on a rewarding journey to create lasting impact for India’s children. The Fundraising Manager will support Reachlives’s efforts to raise funds against a set target for earmarked projects in India working for the welfare of disadvantaged and vulnerable children. The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and maximizing relationships with Major Donors, Family Foundations and Companies through research, networking, proposals, events and excellent stewardship.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
As Fundraising Manager, you will be reporting to the Chairman of theReachlives, and will be responsible for the following:

  • Identify, cultivate and develop a portfolio of prospective Major Donors, Companies, Family Foundations.
  • Develop high quality funding proposals, applications and reports for submission to prospects and donors.
  • Take a proactive approach to networking and cultivating new cold contacts and prospects.
  • Support the development and delivery of the stewardship, events and other fundraising processes and avenues
  • Depending on experience may be involved in supporting the development of the Reachlives fundraising strategy with the ReachlivesBoard
  • Display the values of Reachlives at all times.

Job requirement: 5 -7 years in Fundraising for a small/mid-level charity

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Track record of initiating new relationships
  • Successful track record of meeting or exceeding income targets
  • Experience of identifying and cultivating cold prospects
  • Experience of deepening customer/donor relationships and growing revenue year on year
  • Knowledge of legal, financial and ethical considerations related to fundraising from Major Donors, Corporates and Family Foundations.
  • Experience of developing high quality proposals and reports for prospects and donors.
  • Experience of fundraising for a children’s charity is desirable

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Motivated by the cause of Reachlives
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and pursue goals with passion and determination
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation abilities and strong attention to detail
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence at a senior level
  • Ability to understand, interpret and craft complex information to compelling cases for support.
  • Be diligently compliance driven to ensure organizational adherence to laws and regulations, particularly with regards to the source of the grant.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise multiple tasks, work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Positive team player with a professional solution focused attitude.
